Hey there! I'm a photographer with over a decade of experience capturing life’s best moments. From my early years, photography has been more than just a hobby—it's been my passion, my creative outlet, and my way of telling stories. Over the years, that love has taken me across different photography styles and even different continents.
Whether it's the joy of a wedding day, the adrenaline of a sports event, or a quiet, personal portrait, my goal is always the same: to capture real, meaningful moments that feel authentic to you. I mix technical expertise with a creative touch to create images that not only look stunning but also tell your unique story.
I’m based in the gorgeous East Algarve but work with clients in the U.S., Portugal, and Spain—so if you need a photographer for a destination shoot, I’m all in! Let’s create something amazing together.

Born and raised in the East Algarve, Joana has a deep connection to the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture that make this region so special. As a native Portuguese speaker fluent in English, she seamlessly communicates with clients, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Passionate about storytelling through photography, Joana brings creativity, precision, and a fresh perspective to every shoot. With a keen ability to anticipate emotions and frame dynamic compositions, she ensures that every detail is beautifully documented. Our Gear
When it comes to capturing your most special moments, we believe in using only the best equipment to ensure every shot is flawless, whether it's the soft glow of a sunset or the magic of an evening reception. We shoot with Canon's latest RF and EF gear, including the powerful Canon R6 Mark II, which delivers incredible image quality, fast autofocus, and exceptional low-light performance—perfect for every moment, day or night.
For lighting, we rely on Godox flashes for stunning versatility and precision, whether we're shooting in natural light or setting the mood with creative flash effects. Additionally, we use Smallrig continuous lights to create a smooth, balanced lighting setup for more controlled and consistent results.
With this combination of high-end, reliable gear, we're ready for any on-location shoot—whether it’s capturing the joy of daylight or the enchanting ambiance of the evening. Our equipment ensures that your photos are beautifully lit, sharp, and vibrant, no matter where or when your celebration takes place.
